Graphic Approval Terms and Conditions

Approving your digital proofs you are confirming the following terms and conditions:

  • I am satisfied with the design layout.
  • I have verified that spelling, grammar, text and all other content is correct.
  • I have acknowledged any concerns that may have been brought to my attention.
  • I understand and acknowledge that clicking 'Approved' confirms I have seen and reviewed ALL proofs for ALL files that I have uploaded for that line item
  • Once my order or approval of proof(s) is sent to production, I understand that I cannot make any changes and that I assume all responsibility for typographical errors.
  • I understand that any changes done after the project has been approved and completed are my responsibility and additional costs may incur to reprint.

PLEASE EXAMINE YOUR PROOF CLOSELY.

Your project will be produced from the original of the art provided.

Please take the time to review your proof in detail. We will not be held responsible for spelling, typographical, or design errors once we receive approval to start production on your job.

The cutoff time for most proof approvals is 4pm PST. For example, if you're going with a 2 business day turnaround time and you uploaded the artwork on a Monday and approved it before 4pm PST (same day-Mon), the banner will go out Wednesday. If the artwork is approved after 4pm PST, then the banner will go out Thursday. Please note that this cutoff may be subject to change based on additional factors such as production rush, holiday closures, and etc.

Please note, approvals made through your account or via written email are the only acceptable ways to provide approval to begin production.

The order will not proceed with production until ALL files for ALL items have been approved. If you need the order split, please contact our customer service department for assistance.

Production can begin as quickly as within one hour after approval.

NON-GRAPHICS/PROOF-RELATED INQUIRIES such as shipping, pricing, returns, and etc. should be directed to the Customer Service Department: 1-888-748-7446 or email at info@sdsign.com

Whether you use our templates or you create your own document, please make sure the dimension of your file is the exact size of the finished size.

Image Resolution

Photos and graphics need to be 125 DPI at full size

In Photoshop, you can go to IMAGE -> IMAGE SIZE to find out your file resolution.

Determine Image Quality from Source

Low Quality:Screen capture of video frame
Low resolution / low quality stock photography
Image lifted off a web-page
Good Quality:High resolution / high quality stock photography
High resolution / high quality scanner

Why 125 DPI?

Since your banner will be a large format print, you don't need to prepare your file in 300 DPI which is usually used for smaller format print.
If you are uncertain of the quality of your images, please call us at 888-748-7446 or email us at info@sdsign.com

Color Mode

Your file has to be in CMYK mode.

When you are done with the design, flatten all the layers

then save as TIF.

If you need our graphic designers to modify your art work, don't flatten layers but convert all text to shapes.
(Graphic modification - $65 per hour. Please call for estimated time.)
LAYER -> TYPE -> CONVERT TO SHAPE
