Graphic Design Color Matching Service
Our printers use CMYK inks (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) to produce color, which may not always replicate PMS (Pantone Matching System®) colors exactly. For projects where color accuracy is essential, we highly recommend this color-matching service. While we cannot print actual Pantone colors, we strive to achieve the closest possible match with CMYK. Each selection of this service covers the matching of one Pantone color to one specific material type (e.g., PMS 485 on Stretch Fabric). Additional colors or materials can be matched at an added cost of $25 per color and material. When you add this service to your order, our Graphics Department will match your designated PMS color(s) as closely as possible with CMYK after you approve your digital proofs. Important Information and Tips: File Requirements: Please provide an editable/layered file in one of the following formats: .PDF, Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe Photoshop. Turnaround Time: Adding color matching may extend your turnaround by 1–2 business days. Pantone Color Selection: Select Pantone colors from the Color Bridge Coated book only. CMYK Reference: To see the CMYK equivalent of your PMS color, use the "CP" (Process Coated) swatch from the Pantone Color Bridge Coated book (e.g., 192 CP). Limitations: We do not match HEX colors, swatch numbers from non-Color Bridge books, textures, gradients, pastels, neon colors, or metallics. Media Exclusions: Color matching is available for most media except the following: Acrylic Backlit fabric Backlit film Towels Blankets Dye-sub Aluminum Canvas Coroplast Please note that color profiles and production factors may vary periodically. Standard Black / Rich Black
If you have ever had problems getting a nice deep black printed, you are not the only one.  When designing your art, please use our new rich black formula. C 0%, M 0%, Y 0%, K 100% We have adjusted our profile rips for this specific formula and are getting a much better output. Black settings Black comparison and paper release True black 0-0-0-100 vs Rich Black 75-75-75-100 Transfer release showing true black vs other blacks and overinking Ink release from paper RGB blacks convert to a weak CMYK black Photoshop black adjustment Reasons why we recommend this formula C-0, M-0, Y-0, k-100 Better transfer yield: reduces overinking which leads to print defects such as banding, mottling and transfer wrinkles Automated proofing: less likely to flag your project Standardizes your black when submitting files to various print houses Cleaner black vs. muddy black *We have our Graphic Design Service.
